Shipping policy

We ship your product within 1-3 business days by USPS Priority Mail, tracking provided.

Chocolates and most other candies are both perishable and fragile, please consider that when ordering product and your climate and where your item is delivered or if you will be out of town.   

  • Depending on your location and season - We may be required to ship with ice pack(s) and/or insulated foam mailing box which may add small nominal fee.
  • Hard candies, such as candy canes are wrapped in bubble wrap in layers, like fine China.  

Given that ...

  • No matter how many ice packs are used, if your package if left on your asphalt driveway in the sun on a 90-degree day (all day) - the chocolate will be melted.
  • If a postal worker accidently drops the package, even in the bubble wrap, a hard fall may not protect all (or any) of the products.  

Insurance:

  • Using USPS Priority Mail, the package is automatically insured for up to $50.  This should cover the breakage - but not the "Meltage".
    • Extra-Insurance may be purchased at checkout.
    • Items broken in transit (and their shipping costs) are not refundable.
  • If the item arrives melted, even with ice packs. we cannot control the weather.  This is not covered by insurance and the item and shipping costs are not refundable.

Tracking

  • All items are shipped within using USPS Priority mail which included tracking.
  • All items are shipped in time for any committed dates as well as postal cutoffs for guaranteed holiday delivery
  • If an item arrives 'late' and the order was placed < 4 days before the required ship date for on time delivery, and it was then shipped before the 'required ship date for in time delivery' and the product  arrives after the expected date or the product is lost.  
    • The issue is with USPS and a claim would need to be submitted with them.
    • The Item and shipping costs are not refundable.

Holiday (Christmas) Season

  • The cutoff for orders, to arrive in time for Christmas, is December 7th. 2025. 
  • Orders may be taken after this date - but may or may not arrive in time for Christmas.
